If your track tensioner is fully extended but there’s still slack, a worn rear idler is often to blame. Frequent de-tracking from the rear is another common sign. As rear idlers wear down, their diameter shrinks—reducing track tension and creating the illusion of a stretched track when it’s actually a loss in idler size.
