What Goes Into Every UltraTrack Track

Every UltraTrack rubber track is engineered with a multi-layer construction system designed for maximum service life under real jobsite conditions.

  • Continuous Steel Cord Belt — A single continuously wound steel cable runs the full length of the track, eliminating splice points that cause premature failure. This is the same belting method used in OEM tracks.
  • High-Tensile Steel Links — Drop-forged steel links engage cleanly with your machine's sprocket for smooth power transfer and reduced undercarriage wear.
  • 100% Virgin Rubber Compound — Acid-washed steel cords are bonded through multi-stage vulcanization. No reclaimed or recycled rubber. The result is a track body that resists delamination, cracking, and chunking even under sustained heavy loads.
  • UV and Ozone Stabilizers — Built-in antioxidants and antiozonants protect against sun and weather degradation, extending track life for machines that sit outdoors between jobs.

Undercarriage Care: Getting the Most Hours from Your UltraDrive Sprockets

  • Inspect the Tooth Profile — Sprocket teeth wear from a full, rounded profile to a hooked point. Once they are pointed they no longer drive cleanly, and they chew through track lugs fast.
  • Replace Sprockets With the Track — A worn sprocket will ruin a new track in a fraction of its service life. Change them together, or plan their replacement on the same cycle.
  • Check Mounting Hardware Torque — Verify bolt torque at installation and again after the first 50 hours. Loose hardware elongates the bolt holes and ruins the hub.
  • Keep Debris Out of the Drive — Packed material between the teeth and the track forces the track to ride up and rounds the teeth off. Clear the drive area during daily cleanout.
  • Watch for Uneven Wear Side to Side — One sprocket wearing faster than the other points to misalignment or unequal track tension. Fix the cause before fitting new parts.
